The highest quality wine is the essence of its terroir, the place where it grows. More and more wine afficianados choose these locations as travel destinations and allow themselves to be captivated by the fascination of wine-growing landscapes. But between tours of wineries and the bountiful culinary pleasures, do they really perceive the grandiosity of these places? Armin Faber, who has been underway in the wine-growing regions of the world continuously for three decades, has captured their very essence in his photographs. More than just a treat for the eyes, this collection is an optical intoxication to be enjoyed without moderation.

Since 1981 André Dominé lives in a wine growing village in the south of France. In his articles in wine and food magazines and in his books, he sets out to present wine and food as an exciting experience. In 2001 he won the Prix Lanson as the best German wine journalist.

For more than 20 years Armin Faber has been photographing everything to do with wine and food. On his travels, he has produced more than 200,000 slides, which have been published in numerous cookbooks, wine books and magazines. He has a studio in Düsseldorf together with photographer Thomas Pothmann. They specialize in photography of stills, food, people, and advertising.
